Mexico gets edged out by Brazil, our number one spending market (per capita per day) in 1997 at a whopping $172. Remember, this does not include transportation costs to/from the U.S. Sure makes you see why all eyes are turned to this lucrative market!

Venezuela is nothing to sneeze at, either, with astounding spending in 1997 of $139 per person per day, up more than a third from 1996.

In the case of Argentina, the sample size for this question falls below our statistical threshold in 1996 and 1997.
