Certainly we don't see any of this economic volatility as the dasher of optimism for the United States either. When considering the economic indices, the1998 final visitation levels and the first half of 1999 arrivals patterns, short term growth may be slow but expected recoveries will spur us into a record breaking international visitation level in 2003 when international arrivals will top out at nearly 55 million visitors.
