Webinar: International Travel & Tourism Markets
Focus on Southeast Asia
The U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Travel and Tourism Industries (OTTI) and the U.S. Commercial Service Travel & Tourism Team will present the next in their series of informational webinars on April 20th at 8:30pm Eastern (5:30pm Pacific, 2:30pm Hawaii). This 90-minute webinar will feature snapshot presentations from the U.S. Commercial Service in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, as well as a regional overview from the Office of Travel & Tourism Industries.
The April 20th webinar will cover international arrivals from South East Asian markets, U.S. destinations most visited, spending patterns, and trends from this important region. The program will highlight critical data from the Office of Travel & Tourism Industries and market intelligence from the U.S. Commercial Service offices on how to take advantage of emerging markets in South East Asia with higher income per capita than some of the larger Asian markets.
Participants will get a better understanding of the markets and will hear some expected trends for 2011 and beyond for inbound travel from Southeast Asia to the United States. Learn how to use some of the available data to make better decisions. Couple that with the products and services available from the Department of Commerce to make your international marketing efforts more effective in South East Asia.
