The U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, Tourism Industries (TI) through the Commerce NOAA Procurement Office have issued a request for proposals for TI's In-Flight Survey contract. The government intends to issue a fixed price requirements type contract. Do not contact TI, you must obtain all information related to this bid from the Procurement Office. Ask for Solicitation No. 52-DKTA-8-90003.

We anticipate awarding a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer is determined to offer the greatest value to the Government, and who is in compliance with all terms and conditions of this solicitation as stated in Section M of this solicitation. This acquisition is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The SIC Code assigned is 8748.

If you are interested in bidding on this contract, please contact NOAA Procurement to obtain the statement of work. To bid on the contract, you also must obtain the 180 pages of attachments. The attachments are not automatically sent with the statement of work. If interested in the contract you must again contact the NOAA Procurement Office. The attachments are vital to your understanding of this project. Failure to obtain the attachments will make your proposal unacceptable. The Contracting Officer is Ms. Tracy Miller. To be eligible for consideration, proposals must be received at the Department of Commerce, NOAA, Acquisition Management Division, Room 7604, 1305 East West Highway, Silver Spring, MD 20910, not later than 3:00pm (local time), May 22, 1998.
