Overseas arrivals were up seven percent for the first seven months of 2005. Arrivals through the top 15 ports of entry accounted for 85 percent of all overseas arrivals.
The top three ports of entry (New York JFK, Miami and Los Angeles) accrued 37 percent of all overseas arrivals, the same percentage as the market share registered in 2004.
All top fifteen ports posted increases in arrivals for the first seven months of 2005. JFK, Chicago, Atlanta and Boston airports all registered double digit increases. In 2005 Chicago O’Hare moved to sixth position, ahead of San Francisco. Boston moved up to 12th position in front of Sanford, FL.
